About Us

This story began, when Ken Howard and Bengy Rhodes were given the opportunity to purchase Dr Flush. The company was originally located in the Powdersville Community. A small business with one pumper truck. Ken and Bengy moved the business to Greer, South Carolina. The business was owner operated and the services provided earned the reputation of quality service and reasonable rates.

As the business grew, a second pumper truck was acquired to accommodate the business. 

In the mid 2000’s Upstate Septic was purchased. This company was a full service septic company.  Providing pumping services, system installation & system repair services along with lift station repairs. In September of 2009, a full time septic system installer joined the Upstate Septic Tank team. This rounded out the business team to market the business as a full service provider. The business model was to focus on septic system repairs as our primary service in our area due to continued growth in the housing market.   The market became diluted as septic contractors began lowering their prices in an attempt to be competitive. 

Therefore, new home builders were given the highest level of available service by the new coming septic contractors. We recognized that the level of demand for individual homeowners with septic problems was not being provided in a timely manner. We stepped in and made the home owners our first priority and here we are today!
